SoDak TDS

So I have read some articles claiming that issues with SoDak and Iowa's TDS schemes were addressed after the caisson tests. Is this verifible?
AIUI, the response was to alter the liquid loading scheme, to keep the outer voids full of fuel or water, but there were no physical changes to the TDS and it was a constant source of worry. Fortunately, the TDS was never tested in battle.
