Hi All. I’m a newcomer to the forum, so right upfront I’m going to ask for your patience if I ask dumb questions :)
I’m trying to understand what life was like on board Bismarck. Sure - I’ve read the books, survivor interviews, etc, but sometimes they don’t always deal with the daily details.
Anyway - my first question is when the 380mm guns fired - would men have stood in the open in places like the foretop command post? If so - what sort of protection would they have worn?
