Osprey's: German Battleships 1914-18 Vol 1.

Post by Kyler »

I recently purchased Osprey's: German Battleships 1914-18 Vol 1.

Overall for what it is it is a good book. It is a short and concise book about the Pre-Dreadnought Deutschland Class & Dreadnought class Nassau & Helogland classes. The book includes some very good pictures and illustrations like all Osprey publications have.

Again the only main problem with the book is the cost. Osprey books are expensive for the amount of material provided. I purchased this book since there very few publications that can be found about German Battleships before & during WW1. I purchased the book from Amazon.com for $12 with free shipping, though I wouldn't pay $20 for at Borders or Barnes & Noble.
