Did you know that a G-3 battlecruiser was actually build by the British in secret and Hood was eclipsed as the world's largest warship long before Bismarck came along???

Well it's a story a great intrigue, and they've even got photos to boot!

No more bizarre than the Nelson class battleship, to which there is a resemblance in armament and its layout....

Guess you're right to a certain extent. We're used to the look of the Nelsons so they don't seem so bizarre anymore.
