The original builders model of hms repulse is in lews castle college stornoway.I have just finished building a new case for the model which is displayed in the foyer of the new college. The model was on permanent loan to lews castle college which provided a 3 year pre- sea training programme for merchant navy cadets, many of which went on to become master mariners in the british merchant fleet.The model is as original when she was built by john browns and is in pristine condition.
