Hello jabeque,
congratulations. Very nice work, filling a gap in existing books. Drawings allow to compate battleship protection in way that is easy to understand.
I will get the book! Can you please tell us whether Amazon is the best way to order it ?

Hello everybody,

just a last post to quickly comment about the wonderful Manuel's book. I do believe it is an outstanding work, summarizing all the aspects of WWII battleships in a very clear and synthetic way, without missing any important consideration.
The conclusions are very balanced and unbiased, putting under the correct light both the pro's and con's of all WWII battleships, avoiding the usual annoying "nationalistic propaganda" in favour of a certain battleship design.

I have the book and I have read it all (despite not speaking Spanish). I can strongly recommend it. Hopefully an Italian version (and an English too, who knows) may be available one day, but the graphical and tables information in it would be more than enough to largely justify the investment.

Bye, Alberto

Well done, Senor Gonzalez. Best wishes for successful sales of your book.
I used to travel to Madrid on business: beautiful city center and some very memorable (in the best way) meals.

Hello

I apologize for the delay in responding, but the epidemic has upset everything. I hope you are all well.

Thanks for the kind comments. I recommend anyone who does not understand Spanish or does not want to buy the book to download the diagrams.

I am currently working on completing the series. Twenty-three designs in total, two per class (twelve presents in the book and eleven more, except the Vanguard obviously). Soon some will appear on this page.

To get the book apart from Amazon, Book Depository is a good bookstore and send worlwide.

Best Regards

My compliments to the author. I received my copy a few weeks ago. This is a very good treatment. I'd suggest contacting some English-language publishers, who would be willing to tackle a English edition.

Anyhow, very nice work indeed. Highly recommended, even if you don't read Spanish...

Thanks by the kind comments.
Unfortunately I have no contacts with some english-language editor.

Also my english is very bad.

By the way a new drawing. The drawing is 3250x3250 pixels, in some browsers it may be better to open it in a new tab

I hope that you like it.
