I have found a scanned article by N.J. Campbell about the battle. I think it was taken from Warship International.

Re: Tsushima
Read a book about 9 months ago – The Tsar's Last Armada: The Epic Voyage to the Battle of Tsushima by Russian author Constantine Pleshakov http://www.amazon.com/Tsars-Last-Armada ... 382&sr=1-1 After reading so often on forums and polls about what a horrible officer Admiral Zinovy Rozhestvensky was, this book completely changed my view of him. A good officer who when given bad orders, expressed his reservations and concerns. When ordered to shut up and color, took a poorly trained, badly officered, hodgepodge fleet of ships far from home and any real support to a destiny he knew he was going to lose. In a way, his epic story is very similar to Almirante Pascual Cervera y Topete’s. And they both survived the battle that destroyed their fleets. A word of caution – this book is NOT about the battle as much as it is the cruise of the fleet TO Tsushima.

..... This four part article appeared in Warship Quarterly, which later morphed into the annual publication Warship. A very fine piece of work by Campbell.
