CAMOUPEDIA: USN WWI Camouflage

Post by Ulrich Rudofsky »

It is hard to believe how much artistic and scientific talent participated in the design of WWI dazzle camouflage. Roy Behrens, a professor of art history, wrote an extensive analytical treatise on this subject. The accidental encounter with this new book arose from a photo for sale on eBay. The photo is actually in the public domain according to the author who identified the photo in great detail: persons, place, time etc.. See discussion at http://members.boardhost.com/jacobs1250 ... 20260.html

The book is 464 page, 37 of which are references. The book is now available. An extensive preview is at
http://www.bobolinkbooks.com/Camoupedia ... flage.html

The book can ordered at the website at $30 US, $40 overseas. Mine is on order......
