This book has not yet been published, but I was wondering, has anyone pre-ordered a copy already?

About 6 months ago I think? I'm looking forward to this one, the AOTS series manages to keep a very high level of quality.

Hello All

Yes the book is all most done. I just have a few more drawings to complete. The publisher is working on my drawings and layouts now. I'm not sure when the exact release date will be, but I'm sure it will be out by the end of May. I for one will be very happy when I email the last drawing. It has been a very long road.

The last thing I heard from Jack back in June is that the book was finally off to the printers and it was supposed to be out in July-August. I guess publication has been delayed.

foeth is correct, amazon is saying fall delivery. I noticed amazon.com US is now accepting orders for the book, so I just ordered a copy.

Like the other AOTS books I've seen, it should be a good one. Bring it on!

I talked to the publisher the other day, and the book is being printed with shipments to the UK and US scheduled for the second half of September.

I will let you know on next Tuesday. I will be at the USNA in Annapolis and I hope it is ready for sale at the USNI bookstore.

I got mine from Amazon last weekend. It's a nice book. Typical Anatomy of the Ship format. I enjoyed poring over the numerous line drawings for an hour or two in between watching football. ;) Jose is mentioned several times in the references as is this web site.

I guess they decided to change the cover from the one Jose has posted sometime back. It's a little more dramatic now...

Here is the Reference page for Anatomy of the Ship, Bismarck. You got mentioned twice...and your web site once. Congratulations
