For the German part you may find something here:
http://german-navy.tripod.com/
(sorry – it seems to fill your whole screen with useless advertising windows – but then – lucky us to get all of this information and pictures for free these days.)
Fine pictures though.

And have a look there:
http://www.german-navy.de/
Click on ‘Hochseeflotte’. A lot of usefull information though no much pics.

If you’re able to read German or willing to put up with what funny language you get out of a web translator, you get a fine account of Jutland through the eyes of one aboard SMS Seydlitz there:
http://home.t-online.de/home/04419319946/sey.html
It’s worth trying to get a proper translation though. The German is of a very funny old-fashioned style going nicely with the time and spirit of the account.

Ciao,
Ufo

Hi group - my first posting. Have there been any books or articles that specifically focus on the Derfflinger/Lutzow/Hindenburg class of German High Seas Fleet battlecruisers? Given that these ships are generally regarded as among the best designs of WWI, I'm wondering if there has been any detailed study of them.

Thanks.
