Gentlemen,
Much has been said about the German 88mm flack/anti tank gun and how it was capable of destroying any allied tank, how would it stack up if used against a modern tank - would the shell just bounce off?

Yes, certainly against modern MBT frontal armor. Modern tank guns have much greater muzzle energy than the old "88" and much better projectiles and they don't always achieve a kill.

Also they probably would not be much use either as a modern day anti-aircraft gun.
