Hi all,
Some of you may have seen the posts I made in the Naval History 1922-45 section on the Pearl Harbor and Midway pictures. For those who followed the links but did not notice, those pictures are part of an on-going pictorial series on WW2, with new sets published every Sunday, started in June, until the end of October.
There are other series that you might like to see - extremely graphic, some very high quality - not necessarily naval, though the odd naval photo does show up.
Here's a nice shot from one of them showing a Japanese Fleet with Hiryu, Akagi, Nagato, Mutsu and 2 Kongos with some auxiliary vessels off Yokohama in 1940:
Although many photos are quite horrific...I know you'll find the series gripping.

Does the series include any material on Bismarck?

I just realized I didn't post the direct link to the home page!

There is a link at the end of the Pearl Harbour and Midway series but still...my apologies!!
Today's newly added series is from the "Russian" Front.
