I personally visited BB60 USS Alabama in the 90ies...

Actually yes. USS New Jersey when I was on active duty at Pearl Harbor on her way to Viet Nam and again in the USNR when she visited Portland. Also have been to USS North Carolina and USS Massachusetts memorials. Several times in turrets, and I know those ships used bag powder for their main batteries, but you are showing your ignorance with respect to German battleship main batteries.
