Hi miro,

Read the engineering reports on Tirpitz after she was mined.

The explosion from two mines lifted Tirpitz six feet in an instant, warping the shape of the hull. Tirpitz could only make five knots as a result, and could only be used as a semi-mobile gun battery.

I think H classe would also be vulnerable to the ''earthquake'' effects bombs can have on water, and could be similary crippled.

hey...
i agree with wat u said...

but the mission objective was to sink the Tirpitz,
which was NOT accomblished..

although the attack eventually lead to the sinking of the Scharnhorst (if im not mistaken), it did not really succeed...

almost everythin can be repaired...
