OK. Holland vs Germany? Holland vs Spain?

To be honest I didn't saw an extraordinary game from Holland, but it is efficient (practical) and could put them as champions.

In tomorrow's match I see the Germans stronger but football is a weird game so with luck Spain can get into the finals. A final with no traditional teams: Holland and Spain. It's only fair that Holland won a title after 1974 and 1978. Spain would be a lovely champion.

But my heart beats at the music of Deutschalnd Uber Alles...

Well....

Germany is out. :( Their play this time was very confusing and Spain was, definitevely, more agressive and with a great offensive, deserving to win (and with a couple more goals than those scored).

Jose Rico: Congratulations! Happy to have Spain in the finals... and against Holland. Both teams very strong. Let's see what happens this Sunday but however win, will be great! :ok:

A los espanoles, y en especial a Jose Rico: mil felicidades por el soberbio gane de la Copa Mundial de Futbol 2010. Hacia mucho tiempo que ningun equipo campeon habia demostrado tanta superioridad en la cancha. Ole!

To all spaniards, specially Jose Rico: thousands of congratulations on that superb win on the Worl Cup 2010. For a long time not a single champion team showed such superiority on the field. Ole!

Karl

I think someone is going to have to call someone Jose knows so they can see if he's okay. I am sure him and his fellow county man a partying it up tonight too hard!

I definitely thought Germany v Uruguay was a much better game.

Yes, I'm OK, but It's been a very long night and today celebrations will continue as the team is arriving in Madrid later this afternoon. The streets will be crowded to welcome the heroes.
What a game full of emotions yesterday. Spain was superior overall but we could have well lost at one time if it was not for Casillas who saved us.
Many of us here can not yet believe it: SPAIN WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

I also feel somehow sorry for the Dutch. It was their third lost final after those of 1974 and 1978. History is in debt with them for sure.

I'm not a fan but did read another review that mentioned finals were often not the best as far as play goes. Same thing seems to happen at the Super Bowl a lot. This game seems to have been an exeception. Sounds like both teams deserve a lot of credit.
