Hello,
AFAIK, no torpedo hit was reported by any German Bismarck survivor due to destroyer attack at night. Am I wrong ? The Baron just speak about a startshell burning on Bismarck forecastle, that was possibly misidentified as a hit by Maori that reported a fire fore.

Yes, there was no confirmation of any torpedo hits by the RN destroyers.
