With the Bismarck class the distance of the turret Anton's barbette to the outer hull (torpedo bulkhead?) was only 3 m minimum which was said to be a major hazard in case of underwater hits.
I wonder how that was with other battleship classes which in general had triple or quad turrets and thus barbettes with larger diameters.

Re: TDS at turret Anton?
Hello Mr. Spicmart,
in all ships TDS are weaker at the end, where there is less space for the system.
On Bismarcks the minimum 3m width was a weak point but ,to partially compensate, passageways (around 1m wide) were located close to torpedo bulkhead between this one and "vitals" (e.g. magazines and shell rooms) in correspondence to main turrets rotating structures, to "increase" (up to a certain extent) the total distance.
