Hello everybody,
because the photos has been taken from the Prinz Eugen and we do have the Prinz Eugen original official map/track, ... it is not difficult, ... with a minimum knowledge of the Prinz Eugen and her track, ... to associate the PG film and the existing original photos to her track and realize the timing when the photo was taken, ... with a very limited time tolerance ( map is on large scale and timed every minute/60 seconds ).
Having many more photos at hand, ... compared to the general availability, ... makes the job more easy and accurate.
It is just doing again the work that the Baron B. von Mullenheim-Rechberg and P. Schmalenbach did with Prof. J. Rohwer when they realized the Bismarck track for the battle map based on the photos and the film taken in the proper sequence ( map original caption ) , ... having the Prinz Eugen official map and track ( done on 1941 ) finally available.
Bye Antonio
