hey
i agree with ur comments
no chance for the Spanish.
the sheer number of Capital ships, the USA had, just overwhelms the Spanish.

they couldn't hold them off.

It would have been a short war.

hey that is just an AMAZINg scenario!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love it. if the germans wouldn't have fought for the wrong cause, i would have really loved it if it'd happen like that. i find it VERY possible that the Tirptitz could have surprised the two cruisers in the Denmarck straight. How on earth would th...

hey yes i agree. the french will always have the opportunity to turn away and run for it. it's also rather unusual that one german ships fights against one allied. normally the allies never had the 'guts' to take on one-on-one. they only hunted the German ships... well my imrpression, no offence miro

hey you are right. But who wouldn't turn away from a situation, which is unclear and where superior forces could be waiting to sink her. What i mean was that the ship and the crew would have never fled, wahtever the circumstances. It was often Hitler or Gruppe West/Nord etc. which decided to 'flee'....

hey well well i would certainly say the Scharnhorsts would have killed the french i agree with all ur arguments about speed, guns and protection. but we often say that the Scharnhorst was a 'sick' ship cuz she always had problems. i would say those problesm always cam from the rough seas she sailed ...

hey i totally agree with your points. well my opinion will be biased again, for i am german, but doesn't it look a little bit strange that in almost every category the US ships win? well i personally think the Bismarck was the best BB. and if it's just for her brave fight. in 1941 she was the best B...
