Yes,

30 mm could be the longitudial splinterbulkhead
But it makes no sense to use a 0.6 % C, 2 % Ni / 2 %Cr alloy here. For such thin plate. You dont need extreme hardenability.

And 0.6 % C could be somwhat problematic for welding.
