Your right. I couldn't get to the QuickTime video. It looks like they are planning another dive in 2006. Must be quite an experience to see the piece of history live.

Bismarck construction flaws
How about the inability to steer without rudders? I believe they tested this during her trials and it was discovered, but too late for changes. In addition, the rudders could not be blown off if damaged beyond repair.

I remember a documentary where the Captain addressed the crew to refer to the Bismarck as "He" in light of its awesome power.
