hey.... yes its a good point.... but if u look at the development of anti U-boot weapons after 1942, u quickly see that even aces like Prien would have been powerless... his tally would not have improved too much... Germany took a too bbig task to handle... so many things could have been done better...

hey.... nice post there.... but i don't really understand one thing.... why would a cruiser pull out? wats the use? if there is a situation 1 BB vs 2 BBs.... and then the cruiser pulls out... the chances of the BB getting sunk is higher than if the cruiser is helpin... if the BB would be sunk, then ...

the British won a sea battle before that....
in the start of the 100years war...
i can't remember the name though...
but they did win with a fleet of merchant ships against a well armed French fleet...


and btw...Hood did NOT win over BS....

and he did NOT state anything about the failure of the operation in terms of that plant being Japanese...

actually this battle could go either way...

the forces are pretty much equal.

Scharnhorst:
better protection

Renown:
better speed

the guns, depending on how we arm the twins...is similiar as well...


how about the twins against renown in clear conditions?
would they then win?
