that would stand under really really odd circumstances...

it is a BB vs a BC...

so in my opinion it would a smiliar outturn as the battle of Jutland, where 3 british BCs blew up...


as mentioned earlier all advantages are to BS...
although its always the one with the lucky hit, who wins...

hey... Rodney vs. Bismarck... i would agree that in reality BS would probably run for it... but lets say it comes to an encounter... yes, but i was focusing on the air superiority of the Bf vs. the Swordfish...

wouldn't the combination of Bf, Ju be a better attack force, than just Swordfishes on the British carriers...

but don't u think even a WW2 destroyer was a better ship than a frigate now...

its all so technical...there is no fight anymore...

i agree that they cannot be compared to Nelson....
but still especially Tovey and Lütjens are mentionable..

Tovey had to work with enormous stress and he always kept the HOME safe...

Lütjens was the creator of the Channel Dash...
thats worth mentioning...
