Re: Hell Hath A Jury

USS Pueblo was in international waters at the time of the attack. These ships aren’t sent anywhere that any unarmed ship from any nation can’t go. There is really no reason to have special crews of all volunteers or anything else. What the NKs did was out-right aggression. An act of war if you will.

Re: RN WW2 Battleship Trivia

That step had already been taken almost four decades earlier...she was called HMS Invincible. Paul From my view point, Invincible was the evolutionary step up from Armored Cruisers, where as Alaska’s branch on the family tree started with the Arethusa class through the Light/Heavy Treaty Cruisers t...

Re: Scharnhorst FuMB passive receiver

Ah – my bad here. My question was poorly written. It should have ask…

"What was the receive FREQUENCY range of the FuMB?"

Not range DISTANCE but range in RECEIVE FREQ capability – once again, my bad.

Re: Scharnhorst FuMB passive receiver

Interesting question – was thrashing around (futilely as it turned out) to find some sources for this. Questions; What was the receive range of the FuMB? What is the transmit freq of the DoY radar? If they don’t overlap, then the FuMB wouldn’t have detected DoY's radar emissions. And if the FuMB cou...
