Re: The Climate Change agenda

Marc, I tried to find a linkable copy of the older versions but no luck. The search engines kept routing to the revised editions. This issue came to my attention when I read that the official document had been removed from the web site last year. Many called foul and it was put back up, but then som...

Re: The Climate Change agenda

They altered the document recently as I understand it. It was rewriting history. Those that have copies of the original published document called foul last year when they compared it to the newest online version.

Re: Gen.Mark Clark's Mistake at ANZIO in 1944

Okay I found it. It was from the papers of historian Sidney Matthews who had interviewed Clark about the matter during May 1948. …When General Clark changed the axis of the beachhead attack on 25 May 1944, he did so because he did not believe the attack against Valmontone would cut off the Germans a...

Re: Gen.Mark Clark's Mistake at ANZIO in 1944

Yet it never resulted in retarding his career or anything. Did he have Ultra Intel that resulted in his actions but that could not be used in his defense in the public histories? I seem to recall something like that but can't find the source at the moment.

Re: The Climate Change agenda

All of the criticised models are developed and documented in peer-reviewed scientific journals. The IPCC reports are summaries of these papers. Did you miss this part?: Santer created the first clear example of the IPCC manipulation of science for a political agenda. He used his position to establi...

largest strategic defeats to Kriegsmarine in the war? There is no question that the loss of the Bismarck was a catastrophic defeat for the KM. Not only the loss of the ship and the men but also the loss of the experienced fleet staff. Hitler's paranoids became the central themes of the strategic vi...

Re: If Bismarck had made it to France

For Dave: I don't know about Gneisenau's KTB but Scharnhorst's makes no mention of all these other enemies. According to Koop and Schmolke: 05:10 Heavy guns opened fire. Enemy is identified as battlecruiser Renown class. 05:11 Behind enemy ship one or two other targets. and 05:20 Turned to steer 03...

Re: Scharnhorst w/ 38cm's and other improvements

Duke of York did not use any other radar type to direct fire at Scharnhorst after the 284 went down. Neither did it use 273 to assist in spotting after the 284 was unable to spot the fall of shot. Instead it asked any other British ship via voice radio that could spot the fall of shot to forward the...

Re: If Bismarck had made it to France

S&G had guns, speed and armour and each other to rely on and thus clear superiority over any single opponent thy might meet, just as they had when they engaged Renown. Except this was not really clear to Lutjen's in the case of the Renown. The Renown was misidentified as the Nelson or Rodney an...

Not exactly. The report indicates that although the radar was affected by shock it could be re-set each time.

Re: If Bismarck had made it to France

The Germans used destroyers against some of the early PQ convoys, but they did not succeed in breaking through the close escort. Basically it was a lot of near misses scored by both escorts and attackers and the attacks were not successful at either destroying shipping or dispersing the convoy. If t...

The Friedrich Ihn started firing right when the aircraft emerged from the cloud cover and before TP opened fire. Most of the aircraft where well positioned off to the starboard to start their torpedo runs on the battleship less than 2km away. The Tirpitz turned away at exactly the right moment foil...

Ben Santer's claims has been alluded to in this thread. Here's is some commentary on these claims by climate scientist Dr Tim Ball: https://wattsupwiththat.com/2019/01/24/a-history-of-dr-ben-santer-and-his-ipcc-trick/ .............. Re: If Bismarck had made it to France

. We have to keep in mind however that, had Bismarck repairs lasted just a while, the German Atlantic network of tankers and support ship would have been anyway destroyed, thus preventing any further attempt to carry a serious merchant war in the Ocean and making unavoidable the "Channel Dash&...
