I was a big fan of Jag, and am sorry to see it off the air. Basically the show ended with Mac and Harm getting transfered to posts far away from each other. If I remember Mac was going to California, while Harm was going to Europe. Harm finally told Mac how he felt, and said they should get married,...

I have volume 18, and it is a great book. Pictures and drawings are very good. I also have gone out and purchased volumes 33,34 & 35 on German heavy cruisers, along with volumes 22 & 23 on the light cruisers. These are very well done books, and used with other material are valuable. Now I ju...

Hello All Yes the book is all most done. I just have a few more drawings to complete. The publisher is working on my drawings and layouts now. I'm not sure when the exact release date will be, but I'm sure it will be out by the end of May. I for one will be very happy when I email the last drawing. ...

I'll take a guess. The ship is an Independence class of light aircraft carrier. With the Harriers on deck, I am again guessing that it is the ex USS Cabot that was sold to Spain and renamed "Dedalo"

Bismarck Design Date

Spring 1934 preliminary discussions started from that date until May 1935, the Construction off developed several sketches for Bismarck. On May 9, 1935, Raeder determined that 38cm guns were to be used. Until then the Construction office was looking at 33 or 35cm guns. The propulsion was still not s...

The Bismarck was finished the minute she (or he) left the safety of the Bergen fjords after being photographed. The British were determined to sink the Bismarck no matter what it took. If the Bismarck would have made France, they would have got her (he) there. In the Baron's book page 223 (mine copy...

Not much to do with naval guns, but I just had to post this info on this German gun The Paris Gun - properly called the Kaiser Wilhelm Geschutz - was so-named for its sole purpose of shelling Paris from extreme distances starting from March 1918. A behemoth, the Paris Gun - regarded by many as the a...
