Re: Dunkerque V Kongo

Cool it dude, he does it to everyone. Plus atleast half the stuff he says is correct, so you would be wise to listen to him. He has also been here longer so if a fight gets started he is likely to win due to being friends with the only admin here. He knows how the system works and plays by the rule...

Re: Two KGV's vs. Yamato

Mr. Bgile: First let my tell you that your answers, even not in accordance with my posts, are those of a respectful person. That I appreciated a lot. I still think that no battleship of WWII could stand the double pounding of two contemporary similar vessels. When Bismarck fought Hood and PoW it´s c...

Re: Bismarck against BB-57 South Dakota

I can say it´s a draw if it´s my conclusion. If I was looking for a thought dictatorship I will be living in Iran. Who do you think you are, anyway?

Re: Dunkerque V Kongo

Kongo vs Hood might be an interesting one but we are getting off topic. ... last time the french did something on land was before Waterloo and on sea was.... never! .... This is both inaccurate and lacking in clarity. Maybe I´m missing something here and I need to apologyse: are you, lwd, this foru...

Re: Greatest Warship Name Ever

I like british names such as Repulse or Warspite or Invicible or GLorious. German names are boring as the american ones, with the exception of Enterprise. The jap names belong to a different kind and culture, can´t say if I liked them or not. Well... Kongo sounds like King Kong.

Re: On Battlecruisers ...

The Japanese got more use from their BC than they did from their BBs. Didn't some of the British BC come in pretty useful in WW1. They certainly did in WWII. Of course they were useful! PT Boats are also usefull as fishing vessels as spy ships. The fact is, and what I´m referring about is, that BCs...

Re: Two KGV's vs. Yamato

Why not three or four or all the KGV class versus Yamato? Was the Jap ship so strong it´s needed too many english shiops to defeat it? Not everyone here is a native english speaker, and sometimes it can be hard to read posts. For example, your second sentence here is not correct english. Al...

Re: RFC equipped Yamato vs. Iowa

Legend... any side could blow the other fire director´s... given luck. In such an hypotheses we have to strike out luck because if not anything can happen: the kraken can come out and swallow Yamato or an asteroid can fall over Halsey´s bridge... If we rule out luck and, please read (man, you need r...

Re: Two KGV's vs. Yamato

Legend.... :quiet: ... please read my post again. Did you see the way the sentence is constructed? ... with question marks?... What I wanted to say is what you are replying in such a reckless way. Please read that I was meaning the same thing. Read again. Why not three or four or all the KGV class v...

Son of the Republic, look and learn

This I found and seemed to me that is better to share it. From http://www.liberty1.org/gwvision.htm.... Re: RFC equipped Yamato vs. Iowa

A draw if the Missouri uses the radar and the Japs didn´t. A win to Yamato if there is no radar for Missouri. Just read the specs of each ship. Missouri was never intended to fight a naval combat single hand, she was just a carrier escort. Yamato was built to fight the super battle... stupid notion,...
