BISMARCK 1/200 Trumpeter

Hi, everyone. Nice to be back in this forum after years and years. I have some questions. Does any of you have built the Trumpeter 1/200 Bismarck? if YES, What do you think about it? what set of PE is the best for it? For a non-expert builder. THANKS, A LOT for any help;

Re: Revell 1/350 Bismarck

I am glad that you like it (the Bismarck).

Do you have any of your models in display here? I would like to see them.

Regards

Re: A new "Sink the Bismarck!" movie?

Now I will say something that :whistle: :whistle: a lot of you will laught at. I wrote a script about the Bismarck back in 1998. Some time later (long time ago), I found this forum and I tried to get information to make contact with the German author of the book I based my script, however I got STON...

Re: A new "Sink the Bismarck!" movie?

I don´t regard the Stalingrad movie as a very good one (I imagine we are talking about "Enemy at the Gates" with Jude Law and Rachel Weisz. The book "War of the Rats" is a much better account on this Vassily Saitsev´s business). On the other hand Titanic is not that bad (the lov...

Re: A new "Sink the Bismarck!" movie?

I hope if there is a new movie about the Bismarck that it be a good one, just like Das Boot, Down Fall or Stalingrad.

Made by the Germans and Britrish in a real historical way. Of course with a plot but a good one and not something like TITANIC.

The main deck however comes in one single piece unlike the three parts of the Tamiya model.

Re: Revell 1/350 Bismarck

I got mine already. If I compere it to the Tamiya one. MMMM. I would said the revell will be a lot more difficult to build, but also a lot more detailed. TOO MANY pieces on it as is the case in all Trumpeter kits (and Revell). I mean for example they make you to build a "room" with 4 separ...

Re: Hasegawa´s 1:350 Mikasa and Nagato

I have the Mikasa. It was expensive but I think it is good kit. Well done with a lot of details but at the end it is a small kit. I do not know the prices in Costa Rica but in the US and Europe they are more expensive that here in Malaysia. I save about 15 to 23 USD in any model I buy here. Saludos ...

Astern with the battle flag flying and guns firing and full speed. Ahead also firing and braking the waves at full speed. Another nce one. I think I will love both of them. However, the one astern is a lot more rare I would think With all that water comming out of the sea due to the propellers and t...
